Only registered adult members of Troop 801 may participate in overnight camping trips.
All adults (parents) must have current YPT and AB506 compliance on file in order to register
Adults not registered may attend daytime events but may not stay overnight
The Membership Chair will confirm the roster with the trek leader before each trip and follow up with any unregistered adults.

All adult volunteers must comply with California law (AB506):
Complete the online Mandated Reporter Training

Once you’ve completed all three steps, email your AB506 Certificate to the Membership Chair.
You may now complete your registration at my.scouting.org.
Your application will be reviewed by our Scoutmaster or Committee Chair. Your application will be approved only after both YPT and AB506 requirements are verified.
Upon acceptance as a member of Troop 801, you’ll receive a welcome email that includes:
The BSA Health Forms for overnight events. Complete Parts A and B if you will go on any outing. Part C is also needed if you go on any outing that lasts more than 72 hours.
