Only registered adult members of Troop 801 may participate in overnight camping trips.
All adults (parents) must have current YPT and AB506 compliance on file
Adults not registered may attend daytime events but may not stay overnight
The Membership Chair will confirm the roster with the trek leader before each trip and follow up with any unregistered adults.
For Adult Transfers:
If you are transferring within California, send your AB506 Certificate to the Membership Chair before applying
If you are transferring from out-of-state, you must complete all AB506 steps (see “New Adult Member” section)
After compliance is verified, you may transfer your membership through my.scouting.org
Your application will then be reviewed by our Scoutmaster or Committee Chair
Upon acceptance as a member of Troop 801, you’ll receive a welcome email that includes:
The BSA Health Forms for overnight events. Complete Parts A and B if you will go on any outing. Part C is also needed if you go on any outing that lasts more than 72 hours.
Instructions to return the completed BSA Health Forms to our Medical Forms Coordinator
A request to add your email to the Troop email list, and an option to add additional emails if desired
