About Us

Troop 801 has been a hallmark of Boy Scouting in Coronado for over 55 years!

The Aims of Scouting and Troop 801 are to help boys develop into honorable men.  Each of our activities move toward these three aims:
  • Building Character
  • Fostering Citizenship
  • Developing Mental, Morale and Physical Fitness
To achieve these aims Troop 801 has  multiple troop activities (meetings, outdoor, and community service) scheduled each month.  Our Troop's Bylaws outline our Troop's mission statement and goals and provide the guidelines and structure for our Troop.  Our Scoutmaster has extensive experience in Scouting.  He is assisted by several trained Assistant Scoutmasters and supported by the Troop Committee.
Our regular Troop meetings are the first three Mondays of each month at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall, 655 C Avenue, Coronado, CA  92118,  from 7:00 - 830 p.m., with the Patrol Leaders' Council meeting on the fourth Monday.  Please be sure to check our Calendar regularly for additional events and any changes to our regular Troop meeting schedule.
